Fort Atkinson Chamber of Commerce Mission statement: To promote and maintain a strong business community in the Fort Atkinson area through active leadership, programming and social political action; which will result in a better quality of life for all members of the community.

Relay for Life
Mission statement: It is not in the past that the glories of the Relay for Life lie, but in the possibilities it has created for the future.

This is a 24 hour event to raise money for the American Cancer Society. The money is used for research, education, advocacy, and service to cancer patients. Information on anything to do with cancer is available 24/7 at the American Cancer Society website or 1-800-ACS-2435. Join us for the "Sweet 16" annual Relay for Life on July 15th and 16th, 2011 at the Fort Atkinson High School. Our team is Badger Bank on a Cure and we look forward to seeing you on the track!

Lion's Club
Mission statement: To create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary services through community involvement and international cooperation.

Optimist Club of Fort Atkinson -
The Optimist Club of Fort Atkinson voluntarily joins together in thought and actions as a 'Friend of Youth' - to protect the interest of the community's young people, to promote their welfare and to recognize their achievements. Yearly community projects include Youth Appreciation, Tri-Star Basketball, Sandbox Fill and Fort Atkinson Aquatic Center opening.

Fort Atkinson Industrial Development Corporation
Promoting and Facilitating Positive Economic Development in the Common Interest of the Fort Atkinson Community. Careful and consistent planning has allowed Fort Atkinson to enjoy steady growth while maintaining small town comfort. Cooperation between the City, the Chamber of Commerce and The Industrial Development Corporation is one reason businesses choose to grow and expand here. Council for the Performing Arts – Jefferson County

Humane Society of Jefferson County
The Humane Society of Jefferson County is a non-profit, publicly supported organization. It is our mission to care and provide for the lost, homeless, neglected and abused animals of Jefferson County and to educate and enlighten the public regarding animal welfare.

Jefferson County Elder Abuse
The I-Team has been in existence since the fall of 2002 and was created in response to Wisconsin’s growing concern for the physical, emotional and financial well-being of our senior citizens, whom statistics show are being increasingly exploited.

The mission of the Jefferson County I-Team is to enhance recognition, prevention and education of Elder Abuse, and provide a coordinated community response to vulnerable adults.

Rose Lake Friends
Our Mission Statement: A group of Rose Lake Friends has formed to foster preservation and public use and awareness of the lake and surrounding park land and to coordinate eductaional and volunteer efforts of those interest in sharing their time and knowledge.

Rose Lake Friends invite you to join with them as we together save, protect, educate and appreciate Rose Lake located in the new Jefferson County Dorothy Carnes Park. There is much work to be done but many hands will give us a park to be proud of and enjoyed by all.
